About Coonoor

Coonoor is a hill station in the southern state of India. Situated in the western ghats, the Nilgiri hills are also known as the "Blue Mountains". They are referred to as "Blue Mountains" because when viewed from afar they have a bluish tinge. Coonoor and the rest of the Nilgiris district is known for its tea estates and beautiful landscape.
